Uzzah Wado
I spend a great deal of time nowadays online with Christian Leaders in Nigeria. Using Zoom, Teams and WhatsApp I am able to minister to churches, Pastors and Leaders. It is an incredible pleasure and privilege to be able to do this each month.
Having visited Nigeria a few years ago to minister in churches and conferences I have developed some very firm friendships and relationships. I am amazed at the fervency and commitment of these brave people who sacrifice much for the work of the Gospel. Nigeria is a wonderful huge country but a very dangerous one, many Christian Leaders have been martyred, many churches burnt to the ground and many people carried away into slavery.
One pastor in Kaduna - Northern Nigeria has been on my heart for many weeks now and I would like to introduce him and his family. I wrote recently, a month or so ago, about the Harvest Army who are very precious to me, and here is another wonderful servant of The Lord.
Uzzah Wado is ministering and pastoring in a very large city that is very strategic, it houses a huge army base, has a mining industry that includes gold and other materials and Uzzah’s church is at the centre of this great city.
Dr. Uzzah Wado is a distinguished Christian leader, theologian, pastor, organisational leadership practitioner, executive trainer, consultant, entrepreneur and community development advocate with several decades of multidisciplinary experience across Christian ministry, leadership development, organisational management, administration, entrepreneurship, youth rehabilitation, agricultural development, grant management and community transformation.
He has provided strategic and operational leadership across ministry, professional, community and social-impact environments, combining advanced academic preparation in Christian Leadership, Theology, Organisational Leadership and Management, Pastoral Studies and Business Studies with extensive practical leadership experience. His professional portfolio reflects a sustained commitment to leadership formation, institutional development, mentoring, capacity building, youth empowerment, rehabilitation, community development, strategic administration and nation-building.
He hardly ever misses an opportunity to meet online each month in our Harvest Watchman ministry which is aired on the Zoom platform every third Monday of the month.
He has established a drug addiction clinic, ministers to other leaders in his training programmes and is heavily involved in local city activities such as community programmes, and cultural enterprises. He has a wonderful family and it was a very special experience to share time with them all recently on WhatsApp. Uzzah has many amazing life qualifications but none greater than his passion for Jesus and his dedication to serve The Kingdom of God.
Please pray for Uzzah and his wonderful family in their very unique ministry as he seeks to impact his city for the Gospel. The lead pastor of the Whitebeam Christian Fellowship in Bristol UK - Peter Webley - (where I attend when not out preaching and travelling) and the Leadership Team have promised that the church will pray very much for Uzzah and Kaduna.
Over the next few months on my Web Site Monthly Blog I shall be introducing some other amazing and brave Nigerian Christian Leaders.
